Dollar 13

I went to the DMV today to renew my car registration. There were three receptionists, and no initial line. The were in a good mood, so was I. I handed the third one my dollar, she thanked me and said she could not take it, that it wouldn't be ethical. She suggested I give it to someone who looked like they needed it. The waiting area was about half full. Before I could sit down, my number was called up. The registration went very smoothly, was even fun. As I was walking out of the mall I gave the dollar to a guy who was sitting at a kiosk, selling something, he had no customers and was reading the paper. I said "Here's a gift." He smiled and said "Thank you!"
