Dollar 9

I came down we the flu yesterday. Really wiped me out! The contrast helps me appreciate how wonderful it is to feel healthy!

Today the third hello was from at the Pastoral Counseling Center office. Rosie, Lynda and Mandy all said hello, Mandy was the third person. They all knew about "the dollar challenge" and laughed. I did not have any one dollar bills in my pocket, so I offered her a five dollar bill. "Are you sure?" Mandy asked. "It's all the same" I replied, and it really felt that way. Five dollars clearly had more meaning to her as a gift than one dollar, I liked that she would enjoy it more. Lynda then offered to make change, so I just went with the flow. Lynda only had four dollars, most of it in change, so I "paid ahead" and gave Lynda tomorrow's dollar.

Interesting! Maybe a five dollar challenge will be next!
