As a child I was taught, "Don't accept money from strangers," and the idea of giving a dollar to a random third person, who speaks to you, brings up uncomfortable feelings about "strangers" and money. I admire the idea of generosity, and I think prosperity is a good thing, so today I will give an extra dollar to a charity or needy person.
Later:
It was given as an unexpected tip to a chilly Christmas greens vendor, and you may say that "The recipient look surprised, smiled heartily and said, 'Thanks, I'll get me a cup of coiffee!' I smiled, too!"

I was also taught to not take money from strangers, which is why I think that I have not yet started into this activity yet. Today is Sunday and I will jump in! I've got my crisp one dollar bill ready. Kathleen
