UKV Board Member Matt Schwartz has been tracking his dollar gifts. I really like the way he is doing this, simply saying it is a gift. I especially love Matt's disciplined responses, reminds my of Conversations with God! Thanks Matt!

Explanation: Gift
T.C. E – Is this a pay it forward thing? Do I give it away
Explanation: No. It’s a gift. Do what you want with it.
T.C. Enochs – Thank-you

Dec. 3
Jenny – What’s this for?
Explanation: Gift
Jenny – Really? Am I supposed to give it away?
Explanation: No. It’s a gift. Do what you want with it. It’s yours. It’s something I’m doing. I’ll explain it to you more when I’m finished.
Jenny – I’m putting a hold on this ($) until I get you to explain it in full.
Explanation: That’s not necessary.

Jenny (Later in the day) – I gave it away, there’s other people more worse off than me.
Explanation: That wasn’t necessary.

Barbara – What’s this for?

Barbara – No, really. What’s this about? Am I supposed to give it away?

Barbara – Thank-you. That’s a really nice idea. Is today the only day?
Matt – No. It’s every day in December.
Barbara – You’ll be giving away a lot of money.
Matt – It’s only a dollar a day for the month. That’s only $31.
